1. Oregon - even though I was born and raised in Alberta, Canada, Oregon is my favourite state and feels like a second home to me.

2. Creativity - good writing, a good story, something that takes me away to another place... Grimm really feeds my desire for creativity in tv.

3. David Giuntoli - handsome, sweet, and hey, he's my age and he looks grown up AND young. So there's hope for me. hehe Seriously though, I love watching him, and just feel like the next time I'm in Oregon I want to take him for a good microbrew. He seems that approachable!

Welcome to the forum! *waves* They're great favourite things!! Is the rest of Oregon like Portland? That's a pretty city.

I also prefer watching shows with some creativity, so much more worthwhile than all this reality TV rubbish!

About your points 2 and 3 we are one mind - well, mostly . About Oregon I cannot judge but I hope to travel there one day (and maybe will stay ...) looks on TV like a place I could feel like home

Oregon is gorgeous. The show is filmed in and around Portland, on up to Tillamook, Multnomah Falls, and around there. The forest really does look like that. Green and glowing and gorgeous.

Portland itself is one of the two cities in North America with the most green space per capita - the other one is Edmonton, Alberta (my provincial capital!) Both cities have a river valley running through them, with lots of parks and green space.

Yes, I do love Portland, and everything in the Willamette Valley has that same feel - very lush, big hills and lots of water.
