So, which episode from Season 1 is your favourite? Feel free to explain your votes in this thread.
I voted for Plumed Serpent because I loved the chemistry between Nick and Ariel. Don't get me wrong, I want Nick and Juliet together, but there's some definite UST between Nick and Ariel that needs resolving!! Come on, you lovely Grimm writers, bring Ariel back!!

Come on, you lovely Grimm writers, bring Ariel back!! There's still the rumour that she will be back at one point. Hopeful that Arial won't find the end in Angelina's neighbourhood ... Good to know that I'm not the only Nick/Arial-shipper on this earth , which is weird because I also love the Gen-ship. Maybe Nick should try to manage a harem ... My favourite (all series so far) is 1.13 Three Coins in a Fuchsbau. Why? Because there's so much background, so much history and so much about the current storyarc that started in that episode (besides Farley - Lord, I've a crush on Farley/Marie!). I love David's acting there, the story about the coins, how Nick's the only one not affected but still in the middle of the whole story because of his past. My, I could write books only about this episode ... The only thing that drives me crazy everytime I watch it is that film Nick is watching in the end, that's why I usually stop when he puts the coins aside. No need to see Hitler, especially not with this lame excuse of him being Wesen and affected by the coins. This man WAS mad!

I think the entire world would agree with you!! lol
Three Coins in the Fuchsbau is a good episode, though. I wasn't that fussed on Farley Colt, myself. I don't know why, his character just left me with a "meh" kind of feeling.

The interacting Farley/Nick was interesting to watch. He was the first Wesen not afraid of a Grimm when he noticed Nick. And his egoism was so crazy! Only imagine that he was Marie's lover ... poor Marie! LOL I think that's why I love Farley, or better that couple Farley/Marie. Because they have simply nothing in common but somehow it IS working - there are a handful of fanfic-writers who are also writing fics about this ship. I myself have written four Oneshots about them so far and I really LOVE to write them - thinking about a longer fic now for a while based on what Farley and Kelly had told Nick about what happened in Rhinebek. I only will wait until the season-finale because I think we will learn some more background of Nick's history (probably about Reed this time, what I would appreciate). Okay, sorry for that Fanfic-OT.

For some strange reason, Plumed Serpent became my favourite, too. Not just because Ariel, who was great, but also because Nick here finally got an idea what it means to be a Grimm. I don´t think he fully accepted it even in previous episodes, where he was dealing with more serious Grimm stuff. After Monroe told him that a Grimm was killed and Juliette kidnapped, he started taking things more seriously. Also, he killed his first Wesen here. He looked shocked and even after what happened, he still wanted to save Ariel. Would he be so willing later or now? It is hard to say but it was definitely a big change in his character from cop to Grimm where Grimm takes the front seat and doesn´t leave it since then...
