meh. i wasn't sure how to introduce myself here. hello? i guess a little on why i like Mr. Giuntoli (yay, i'm finally spelling his last name correctly without help! LOL).
at the risk of sounding über creepy, i know some dude who looks like Mr. Giuntoli in real life, and i started watching the show and became addicted and now i am quite obsessed with both.
to add to the creepiness, i started joining these forums because i wanted to know something regarding [possibly] his personal life, rather than his work/acting: his Nairobi tweets. i simply wanted to know what he was doing in Nairobi? because i know the United Nations has offices there (i know it's WAY early in his acting career to be working with the UN as an ambassador/rep, but that's hot, so i had to know). so yeah, i am kind of creepy that way.
oh, and he just warms my heart in general. the more i read about him, the more i like him. i heard he was on MTV when he was younger? and i'm in a similar situation (i was on there too, but in a regional/non-US version) and i was just 15 and it seemed like a good idea at the time, but now it kind of bothers me and it's really nice to see how well things worked out for David. actually, when i read that David was on MTV i started to get panic attacks and nearly bawled my eyes out--but then i realized he's doing fine and it's very inspiring.
i also tried out acting, and i loved it, but i decided to go back to my initial career choice (the one i studied in university) because it's harder when you're a woman, really (and when straight men run the film industry). one day, i just had enough and walked out! i do still wonder "what if?" but whatever. people think it's easier when you're scouted, but it's not true. it actually makes things HARDER (which is why i have so much respect for David). it should be interesting to stalk follow David's career/work to see how things work out for him. he would be interesting to follow considering he was scouted (you know "discovered") and he actually studied finance and had no intention to become an actor until he was scouted.
sorry. i rambled. one more thing: his RT-ing anti-firearms petitions on Twitter is also hot.
