As you all may know, the site celebrates its seventh birthday on 22nd August and to celebrate it we have decided, once again, to raise funds for St Louis Arc, a charity which is close to David’s heart. Our aim is to run this fund raiser throughout the month of August.
The St. Louis Arc is a non-profit, United Way agency that provides support and services to more than 3,500 adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and their families, throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area, which is also David’s hometown. David’s father was the Chair of this charity up until a couple of years ago, and David himself was honorary Chair for a year a few years ago. So you can see that this is a charity that is close to his heart.
Our target goal is to reach $500 by 31st August, so we will be grateful for any donation, no matter how small. If you’d like to donate to our fundraiser, just click on the link below. Don’t forget to spread the word to help us reach our goal.
