Hi there! Uhm, well, a friend of mine made me aware of this board/site. Well, after I saw that poll my first thought was ... nope! But, I think I will simply try it. When the site will close, okay, if not, better ! Well, what about me? I'm from Germany *don't kill me please* and a screencapper and artler as well. If there's any interest, I captured "Turn the Beat around" not so long ago and would be glad to share the pics (and I' in the middle of capping some of David's earlier roles, well, the ones with good quality and where I can lay my hands on ). Art ... I've already checked out that little corner down there, good to know. So I'm not longer torturing other artlers on a General board with my David G.-/GrimmArt *rubs hands*. Well, what more? I have to say I have a past which isn't the best and I just learned that this past seems to follow me again *iz sad*. But I hope this won't bother anyone. I only think it's better to let others know instead of vanishing suddenly without explanation.

Hi and welcome to the forum! It's always great to meet a new member on here. Don't worry about that poll, by the look of things the forum will be staying open. Ooh, another screencapper! That's just what I need. I'm currently working on a gallery for the site and I'll be needing screen caps of all the tv and film work that David has done. Don't suppose you have any experience with coppermine galleries as I'm also looking for a gallery admin to help me out. Also, feel free to share as much David/Grimm art on our creativity corner, it's about time that section got used!! lol Don't worry about the past, we accept everyone and anyone on here. I just hope that you enjoy your time here. Helen

Nope, sorry, never heard about Coppermine. Good to know about your need of older work but was (a very short time) gallery-admin and official screencapper for another fan-board. About the art , great! *rubs hands again*.

I'm currently working on the gallery today so any screen caps you've got of David's work will really help towards it. Helen

i think we met elsewhere (at another forum, same username). Well, what about me? I'm from Germany *don't kill me please* and a screencapper and artler as well. LOL! can't dream a reason why any of us would want to do that! i'm Asian, but i do have family members who are German (can't understand a single word they're saying despite knowing SOME basic Dutch/Nederlands--i guess the two languages aren't as similar as many claim). is "artler" German? because i Googled it and all the top results were German. i'm guessing that means you make fan art? i'm just guessing.

Depends on the region. I would say people living up on the coast or even around Friesland haven't such problems understanding Netherlands/Flemish. My Mom came from the coast and spoke a lot Low German. The good thing, I worked for a Belgian company some time ago and was able to understand my boss pretty well, the bad thing: I cannot speak Low German. Yeah, I tend to mix German and English-words so your googling is right: with artler I meant Fanartist. As I've said beofre, I also was a semi-professional writer, publisher, critic ... well, I did a lot of jobs especially in literature. Wanted to learn everything about that to get a better feel what I was doing. So maybe I'm still a little bit original artist but mostly fan-artist.
