So, who will be watching this weekend for a bit of crazy, Euro fun? I love Eurovision. I hate our entry this year, we don't get to choose who to send anymore! I never cheer for us during Eurovision (unless it's a rare occasion where our entry is actually good) so I always check out all the other entries online and then pick my country to cheer for! lol I shall be cheering Belarus on this year as I can't get that song out of my head! A close second for me is Austria's entry, too.
What about all you other Euro peeps out there?

I have no idea if we have anybody in there. I think we sort of gave up and didn´t have anybody in last year. So I think our TV will just ignore it. We had a great band a few years back. They were Gypsies (they are called Gypsy.cz after all) but I think their music, however great and melodic, was not everybody´s cup of tea and also did not really represent our music. We have some good singers and bands but those are also established and have no need to participate in this. A winner of our first "X-Factor" (it was the first one and never as successful then) is a well established singer here, as well as in Slovakia and even Poland. She has a great voice, sings live in concerts and clubs and refuses to do show type of concerts. She came out of X-Factor, yes, but grew up a lot since then (I think it´s been almost ten years or so), helps charities, came out as a lesbian, hides her privacy so yeah , she is the one who could succeed but I doubt she would do it. The others are just a local stars who spend more time in parties and filling tabloid with their scandals than real singers.

Sweden put on a great show last night. I thought Petra, the host, was fun! Usually the event hosts are so dull and unfunny.
I thought that there were a lot of strong performances this year so I wasn't surprised that it was such a close thing with the voting. I was backing Belarus, which didn't do too well, sadly.

Eurovision is almost upon us again! Who will be watching? I'm backing Armenia this year.....if they make it through to the grand final. Their song just blows me away.
